Episode 35: Cream Cracker MGs with Jonathan Toulmin

In 1935 Maurice Toulmin, was a member of the winning Cream Cracker MG Works Trials team in both the 1935 Exeter Trial and the 1936 SUNBAC/NWLMC Team Competition in his PB.

The history of trialling is absolutely key to pre-war history of MG and so it’s a great honour to have Maurice’s son Jonathan Toulmin on the podcast with us as we settle in for a two part conversation sharing the stories from that fantastic era of MGs in motorsport.

Also, Wayne and Adam celebrate what was arguably the last ever high-performance MG, the ZT260. Plus, they discuss the recent Classic and Sportscar Awards in which the MG Car Club were highly commended in the categories of Club of the Year and Event of the Year.
